Mature Olive Tree FAQs

Our mature olives are around 40 years old, approximately 2.5 to 2.8 metres tall, with a trunk width of 200 to 300 mm and at least 600 mm of clear trunk. See our tree specifications for full details.

Our current collection is Leccino (Olea europaea 'Leccino'), a classic Tuscan variety known for its hardiness and silvery foliage.

Yes. For your convenience, we keep a selection of our trees at our Huntingdale display yard, so there's no need to travel out to a farm. If you're in the area, you're welcome to drive past our yard at 41 Fenton Street, Huntingdale and see the trees from the street. For a walk-through and to select your tree, an appointment is required. Book a viewing.

Yes. We coordinate full transport of your tree to site across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.

Yes. Our team can place and plant your tree on site, making sure it is positioned and secured correctly. Installation is available as an add-on to delivery.

Pricing depends on the individual tree, delivery location and whether installation is required. Send us an enquiry and we'll come back to you with availability and a quote.

Yes. Olives are hardy, drought tolerant and well suited to Melbourne conditions. They perform best in full sun with free-draining soil.

Water deeply and regularly while the tree establishes, particularly through its first summer, then reduce as it settles in. We'll give you care advice specific to your site when your tree is delivered.
